Winter Music in Bromley
Bromley Parish Church will play host to an exciting festival of classical music this winter, featuring some of the very best classical musicians not only in the UK but in the world. More information about the performances and how to purchase tickets will be released shortly, but discounts will be offered for attending more than one concert. In 2008, Philip became the first ever British winner of the JS Bach Competition in Leipzig, and in 2009 he also was awarded 1st Prize in the Lutoslawski competition in Warsaw. Philip and Simon have performed together throughout the UK as well as in Italy and Germany.

Jack is a 2010 Classical Brit Award Winner, picking up the trophy for Young Classical Performer of the Year, and has an exclusive record deal with Sony Records. He has performed all over the world as soloist with the London Philharmonic and English Chamber Orchestras to name but two.

Programme to include Benjamin Britten’s Poet’s Echo set to poems by Pushkin, Fiançailles pour rire by Poulenc and songs by Rodrigo and Frank Bridge
Caroline will tour with Scottish Opera’s production of ‘Carmen’ in autumn 2010, and Rupert Christiansen of The Daily Telegraph wrote “my personal favourite was the Lancashire born Caroline MacPhie. Her light-lyric instrument was clean-toned and perfectly tuned, and she delivered an enterprisingly original programme with flair, style and musical imagination.”
